Thursday (Inversion Day)
On Inversion day, morning through mid-afternoon are open so that church groups can take advantage of activities that may take more time than is allotted in the afternoon (rafting, horseback riding, long hikes, etc...) The schedule for this day is as follows:
6:15 Rise and Shine (Remember the No Wake Zone)
7:00 Dining Hall Opens for Breakfast
3:30 Return to YMCA
4:00 "The Word" Zone (Bible Study)
5:15 Munch Zone III (Dinner)
6:25 Vocal Zone (Choir)
7:30 Fellowship (with God and one another) Zone (Evening Activity and Vespers)
10:00 Bed Zone (In Your Room)
11:00 Dream Zone (Lights Out)
Because some people like to celebrate through fashion, we will have three themed days that are optional to those who would like to dress for these. They are:
Tuesday is Hawaiian Shirt Day ! This is a day to wear one of those wildly colored, flowery shirts that you see tourists wearing when they have visited a tropical island.
Leis ( a flowered, Hawiian wreath) will be distributed at the Loading Zone to wear during the day.
Grass skirts are BYOS: Bring Your Own Skirt
Wenesday is Wacky Tie Day! As Christians, we often sing a sing in our hymnals entitled, Blessed Be the Tie That Binds. Today we celebrate that tie by wearing ties. Your shirts do not need to be formal just wear a tie any way. Dig in your dad's closet and wear one of those many gifts you gave him through the years. If you have extra ties, bring them for those who may forget theirs. We want to show the people at the YMCA that LOGOiods know how to dress nicely. LOL
Friday is Groovy Friday! On Friday, those who want to can wear their best tie dye or Sixties outfit. You have seen the movies and can probably find your mom or dad's old outfits in the closet. Just have fun but be tasteful. Remember: Peace, Love and Jesus!!!
