Each day at the Conference we experience all the elements of LOGOS! The day begins with worship that helps us to focus on the Bible theme for the day. The theme for the 2009 Conference is "God at Work" a study of the letter of James. Bible study, choir practice and activity time are a part of each day. Special programs fill each evening concluding with a communion service on Friday night. The conference is more than a series of activities. It is a coordinated event designed to allow the participants time to examine their faith, grow in their commitment to Christ, and feel closer to God.
Bible Study groups are from 10 to 12 youth of the same grade with two adult leaders. There is a young adult Group and a also a group for adults who are not Bible Group Leaders.
In Activity Hour Youth form friendships with those in their Activity as they join together to play, create, hike, and have fun. Some of the activities are team sports, tennis, hiking, card and board games, and guitar.
During Choir we all join together to prepare our gift of music during the Friday night Communion Worship Service.
Each evening there are special activities led by Ron Motley, our "After Dinner Mint" Dean. Holy Hilarity is the theme of each evening.
We end the day with Vespers bringing us back to our Conference Theme.
Then an hour of free time before returning to our dorms for Talk it Over and Lights Out.
Afternoons are a
time for Church delegations to explore Rocky Mountain National Park,
Hike, explore Estes Park, hang out at the Y , play miniature golf, ride
bikes, horseback ride. This is a time that groups create special
memories, have great fun, grow in relationships, and marvel at God's
creation! For information about activities, go to Links for websites.

Thursday is Inversion Day.
The mornings and early afternoon are not scheduled, but left to allow
delegations to do those excursions that need extended time like
rafting, "killer" hikes, etc. Conference programming begins at 3:30 in
the afternoon.

Delegations can order sack lunches from the dining hall!
Favorite activities include the drive up Fall River Road to the Alpine Center, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and shop a bit, and back down Trail Ridge Drive. Scenic waterfalls, herds of elk, breathtaking vistas remind us of the majesty of God!

Hiking trails abound in Rocky Mountain National Park from a stroll around Sprague Lake to more strenuous hikes to higher ground!

Exploring Estes Park and sampling the
good eats- ice cream, salt water taffy, fudge- is a relaxing way to
enjoy and afternoon. Listen to the music in the plaza and enjoy cooling
your feet in the fountain and stream!
